Free DVDS from Idaho Power!

Idaho Power has two DVDs available.  These can be used in classrooms, 4H and civic groups.

1.  Proving Up and Settling Down

This DVD contains stories of life in the Hells Canyon in the early 1900's.  Native Americans, and homesteaders talk about mining, trapping, ranching and early agriculture while growing up in the Hells Canyon area (20 minutes)

2.  The River Has Many Stories

Members of Native American tribes tell stories about their lives and history in the Hells Canyon area and the importance of being good stewards of our land (15 minutes).
